Introduction: Some Christians complain saying:  I want to experience a victorious and holy spiritual life, but there is something in me that does not let me and that makes me do bad things”; or I want to do more for Jesus but I lack the strength, and power.”  The answer to this problem is that all Christians must be filled with the Holy Spirit.  In Acts 1:8 Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. Therefore, the apostle Paul also said to the Christians of his time:  “Be filled with the Spirit.”  (Ephesians 5:18). Today you will have the opportunity to learn this, so the Holy Spirit fills you with His power.

1.      Jesus Christ spent a lot of time teaching His disciples about the Holy Spirit and John left some of these teachings written for us.

a.       According to Jesus, who would give us an overwhelming experience as “streams of living water”?  (John 7:38-39) _______________________

b.      Who must teach us? (John 14:26) _______________

c.       Of whom does the Holy Spirit talk or give testimony?

(John 15:26) ________________________________

d.      To enter the kingdom of God you should be born of

water (this is symbolic and it means repentance of sins), what else should we be born of?  (John 3:5)

2.      Even after Jesus’ resurrection, who did the disciples need to have power and give testimony of Jesus? (Acts 1:8)

3.      Besides the apostle Paul’s commandment in Ephesians 5:18,

How do we know that Christians should be filled with the Holy Spirit? (Acts 2:37-39; Acts 9:17) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

4. The things that prevent someone to be a spiritual Christian or filled with the Holy Spirit are demonstrated in the Christians from Corinth.  They had bad attitudes like jealousy, envy; which proved that they still were (1 Corinthians 3:1, 3):_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

5.      Which one is the special work that the Holy Spirit carries out,

whereby He takes away all obstacle to make us filled with Him completely, pure, holy and separated for God? (1 Peter 1:2) _____________________________________________

6.      When God filled the first Christians with the Holy Spirit, what does Peter say that God did with their impure hearts? (Acts 15:8-9)______________________________________

7.      What should we do with our sinful or impure attitudes? (2 Corinthians 7:1) ___________________________________

8.      How much complete does God want this purifying work or

this sanctifying and powerful experience to be? (1 Thessalonians 5:23) ________________________________

9.      Because through ___________________the law of ___________________ set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)

10.  The Corinthians’ bad attitudes (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)

demonstrated that they lacked of the most outstanding characteristic of the Christian life, which according to 1 Corinthians 13:13 is:  ______________________________

11.   Only _______________________ can fill my heart with that

love of God.  (Romans 5:5)

12.   What relationship should I keep up with the Holy Spirit after

He has filled me?  (Romans 8:4 & 14)  _________________

A victorious and full of power Christian life is the one who has been filled with the Holy Spirit.  It overflows and blesses the others.  Here are four steps you should do to be filled:

a.       Confess your need for God to sanctify your heart,

and He will purify you.  (Acts 15:8-9)

b.      Surrender, give yourself completely and absolutely to

God.  (Romans 12:1-2)

c.       Beg to the Lord Jesus Christ to fill you with the Holy

Spirit, in a prayer of faith.  (Luke 11:13)

d.      Open your heart to the Holy Spirit, and with a faith act,

receive Him.  (Acts 15:8-9)

There is no secret, nor means, nor way to obtain an abundant, victorious, holy, happy, fruitful and pleasant spiritual life to God, other than to be filled with the Holy Spirit; it is to say, to be sanctify and be filled of God’s power, by Him and for Him.  Study thoroughly the questions in this lesson and the answers in the Bible.  It could be you alone or in Mega Zoé Church, prostrate before God, confess your need to be sanctified and to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit; consecrate totally to Him, ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit and receive this incomparable blessing and experience which is a promise to all His sons.  In church you will see our brethren receive the power of the Holy Spirit and you will rejoice together with them.
