IV       Class Development:

Ø Our trust must be placed in God, because He guides us, His hand is mighty.

Ø “Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.”

Ø Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”

Ø Then they asked:  “Where do you want us to prepare for it?”

Ø He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ (visual F1)

Ø “He will show you a large upper room, all furnished. Make preparations there.”

Ø “They left and found things just as Jesus had told them.”

Ø Those who know Jesus live untroubled lives, they don’t live running around.

Ø God wants us to walk according to what He wants for our lives.

Ø When you love, you do.  We can see that John and Peter were always with Jesus everywhere.

Ø Both have different personalities.  But they were always together because they knew that Jesus needed them.

Ø In Luke 19:28-38 we see that they went up to Jerusalem and when they approached Bethany, He sent two of the disciples, saying to them:  “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it.’ Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them.”

Ø They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:  “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (visual F2)

Ø We can see that Jesus needed the colt for the service He would do.  He was going up to Jerusalem to suffer and die for us.

Ø Jesus needs us too; our lips to preach His Word, our hands to bring bread, help and comfort; our feet to spread the gospel throughout the earth; our eyes to see the human misery and see the world’s injustice and the sin of men.

Ø Do not believe the devil when he tells you that you are useless.

Ø Those who are well dispose to fulfill without delay or excuse the will of God will see that everything goes according to what He has promised.

Ø No one stopped Jesus; He was going to Jerusalem to fulfill the Father’s will.

Ø Let us adore Him with all our beings, adore Him with all our strength.

Ø There is something we must know and that is that Jesus needs us.

Ø We were chosen from our mother’s womb.

Ø Jesus arrived to our lives to guide us that for our trust must be placed in Him.

Ø People live paying attention to many worldly things, but why don’t you live yearning to know for what are you useful in God.

Ø The disciples asked Him: “”Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they wanted to know.

Ø There must be something in our lives and that is to know what God wants; be guided by Him.

Ø The only way that we could know His purposes is when we pray.  The prayer is the way to be closer to Him and know His will.

Ø We need God to talk to us, have intimate communion with Him.  He will guide us in prayer.

Ø We must ask Him to talk to us, that He shows us the way, guides us, as He guided John’s and Peter’s lives.  And it is up to us to trust His word, as the disciples did.

Ø Detach from your knowledge because it opaque you, it’s better to be filled with Christ’s knowledge.

Ø Have you asked God:  Lord, what do you want from me?

Ø Many times we plan our things without thinking in what is it that God wants for our lives.

Ø When Jesus asks from our lives we must do it.

Ø Be wise and say: What do you want from me, Jesus?, when you go in prayer, He will guide you.

Ø Many live their lives stunned; they don’t know what to do. Jesus knew that that man would be here carrying a jar of water.  God knows everything.  Why are we confused and worried?

Ø Let us learn to follow God’s instructions.  It is already written what you have to do.  Trust in Him.

Ø Let us dispose our lives, the man carrying the jar of water did it so. He gave the upper room for the meeting.

Ø Your life is in God’s hands.  Surrender to Him day by day.  Seek Him in prayer.

Here I am, use me, oh Jehovah, because I am willing to!
